Ugly Sweater Contest — wear the ugliest most festive holiday sweater you can make or find. The resident with the best sweater will win a $20 gift card to Ashton Tap & Grill. Holiday Sock Exchange - Share your holiday Spirit by bringing a brand-new pair of holiday socks (both men’s and women’s socks) filled with goodies (individually wrapped sweets, gag gifts, ornaments, etc.) to exchange by playing a fun game with friends and neighbors. Gingerbread House Contest – Build the sweetest home you can and bring it in to Monday Coffee — your friends and neighbors will vote for their favorite house. The house with the most votes wins a $20 gift card to Ashton Tap & Grill! CHRISTMAS CONCERT The Faith Xtreme Choir will be performing a Christmas concert "A Light in the Darkness" for Lake Ashton December 15 at 6 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. This is a multimedia event as they tell the Christmas Story through music, pictures, videos and stories from the Bible. Please stop by the Clubhouse Activities Desk to pick up your free ticket starting after Monday Coffee on November 1. There is no charge for this concert, but donations are encouraged and will be collected at the concert. All money raised will be used by Faith Xtreme to purchase gifts for underprivileged children and stuffed animals for nursing home residents. 27 HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD Felices Fiestas, Habari Gani, Chag Sameach, Buone Vacanze, Happy Boxing Day, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays … No matter what your holiday greeting is, all are welcomed to celebrate the Holidays Around the World on December 10 at 5 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom! There will be stations set up representing the below countries featuring their common holiday foods, plus some traditional music from these world holidays played by a live DJ and wonderful holiday décor.
