LA ROCKERS By Annie Lutz LA Rockers have been busy painting rocks and hiding them throughout the community to spread kindness. Have you been lucky and found a rock? Please post a photo of your rock on Talk of Lake Ashton’s (TOLA) Facebook page. It means a lot for us to see that our rock was found, and it may bring a smile to those that see your post. Remember you can keep your rock or re-hide it to share it with others. If you’re interested in joining us, we have an orientation class at the HFC Community Room from 1:00 to 3:00 on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Newcomers will be lent the supplies they need for their first session so please contact MJ Richards (mjmrichards517@gmail.com) at least three days before their first meeting so that supplies can be provided. MAGIC YEARS CLUB By Lynne Judd Are you someone who loves Walt Disney World or maybe you want to learn more about it? Then you are welcome to join the Magic Years Club, which meets the second Monday of each month at 7 pm in the HFC Craft Room. Our next meeting will be on Monday, May 12. Our members have been quite active in the last couple months! We have had showings of Coco and Moana 2 in the Clubhouse Cinema, some have visited WDW to see the topiaries at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and others have visited the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to see the beautiful, oversize Easter eggs with Disney themes crafted by the chefs of the different resorts. Some of our members even went on a special fireworks cruise to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the water. At our meetings, we share lots of information and usually end with a trivia quiz. Sometimes, we even have a "show and tell" with special Disney items we have collected. So, why don't you join us and bring any questions you have about WDW? DUPLICATE BRIDGE By Don Fuller & Liz Leigh Duplicate bridge is played on Monday at 12:45 pm in the Clubhouse Card Room. The game is open to all residents regardless of skill level. Participants should have some experience playing bridge plus a partner is required. We have approximately 60 players in the group and can assist new players in finding a partner. Registering in advance is suggested by signing up in the Red Book in the Clubhouse Card Room, or by emailing Don at dfuller627@yahoo.com.
