LAVA AUXILIARY By Chris Graves The next meeting of the LAVA Auxiliary is Wednesday, May 21 at 6:30 pm in the Ballroom, close to the stage. The entire month of May is Military Appreciation Month. May was chosen as the MONTH to honor the military because it includes VE Day, which commemorates the end of World War II in Europe, and culminates on Memorial Day. SAVE THE DATE: The 2025 Annual Craft Show is right around the corner — October 25, 2025. If you would like to participate in the Craft Show, there are several tables available. You can pick up your Vendor Application Packet at the Clubhouse. THANK YOU to all who purchased raffle tickets for our chocolate Easter Bunny Give Away. This FUNd Raising event raised more than $1000 which will be used to support our Veteran Charities. God Bless Our Military! THE PALMS BLOCK PARTY By Barbara Moul The Palms held their First Annual Block Party on April 8. Over 80 residents came together to enjoy food, fun and friendship. What a wonderful way to strengthen the bonds that make our neighborhood a wonderful place to live! Everyone is already looking forward to next year’s celebration. PING PONG CLUB By Gina Krall The Ping Pong Club held their End of Season In House Tournament in April. LAVA Auxiliary will be selling Patriotic Bows to honor veterans for $5 at Monday Coffee, both Activities Desks, and the Pro Shop.
