CLUBS LA BELLES By Noreen Guy Greetings LA Belles! The ladies are slowly getting back to monthly luncheons and once again gathering while enjoying the fun-filled atmosphere of familiar restaurants and searching out some new venues while catching up with one another's latest happenings and possibly meeting future best friends. The next luncheon will be held at The Barn in Lake Alfred on May 25 at 11:45 am, hosted by Caroline Kilmer (813-361-1007). The sign-up sheet is on Clubhouse Information Wall. Here’s to the LA Belles continuing in the spirit of friendship and camaraderie. The LA Belles is open to all Lake Ashton ladies, so y’all come now, hear! CREATIVE QUILTERS By Marsha Martin The latest quilt made by the Creative Quilters is up on the wall outside the media room in the Clubhouse. Each quilter was given a piece of matching fabric and then made whatever block they chose to put into the quilt. The result is a beautiful quilt for everyone visiting the Clubhouse to see! The quilters have already started making blocks for a patriotic quilt to go up next. Up north friends are starting to head home for the summer so numbers are getting smaller, but there are still lots of fun quilting projects planned for those that are here. Every third Tuesday is Project Day starting at 12:30. Quilters of all abilities are welcome, so come and join in! For more information call Marsha Martin at 406-788-8087.
