Meet Donna Lund Donna Lund is originally from Ferndale, Michigan and attended the University of Detroit majoring in dental hygiene. She met and married Randy, her husband of 46 years, in 1976. Due to Randy’s corporate life, the newlyweds moved several t ime s , e v en t ua l l y t o t he No r t h s ho r e of Chicago with their two children, Ryan and R e g a n . She applied this knowledge to assist many individuals, including Alzheimer Patients, Abused Women and Children. The family was extremely proud of her for completing her degree Magna Cum Laude! After 21 years in Chicago, Donna and Randy decided to move to Hot Springs Village in Arkansas for retirement. While visiting their son in Florida, they came across Lake Ashton. They were immediately drawn to its beauty and of course, the golf. They moved in this past December and although they are snowbirds they are so in love with Lake Ashton that they may stay full time. Donna began playing golf in 1993 at the Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, IL, and plays at the Diamante Country Club in Arkansas where she was honored as the most improved player. She has found the “People” of Lake Ashton welcoming, especially members of the LALGA, and our wonderful golf staff, Matt, Trent and Christian. In addition, Donna enjoys meeting new friends, playing mahjong, traveling, cooking and decorating. The LALGA is extremely happy that Donna moved to Lake Ashton and became a member of the league.
