3. Golf i. Golf may be played at the Golf Course for a fee. Any unauthorized individual found using the Golf Course facilities or playing the course will be asked to make restitution. If payment is not received, the individual will be removed and receive a warning. ii. Tee times are available upon request through the Pro Shop. Prior to play, Golfers must report to the Pro Shop. Golfers are asked to abide by local rules regarding dress, behavior, and play. Golfers should comply with announcements on course playing conditions. iii. Golfers are reminded that they share the Pathways/Bridges and Ponds with NonGolfers. Golfers do not have any higher priority for use than any Non-Golfer and need to be considerate in allowing use by all Lake Ashton Community members. BOOKMOBILE RETURNS! The Polk County Library Cooperative Bookmobile has returned and will be parked at the Clubhouse West Parking Lot on August 11 and 25 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (closed for lunch 12:30 to 1:15). New library membership is available to anyone owning a home or long-term renting in Lake Ashton, with photo ID and proof of address. Call 863.678.4004 for more information. Wahneta needs help before the students convene. 2020 is in the past but the effects of the pandemic are still being felt. This elementary school, which offers free breakfast and lunch to every student, can desperately use the community’s help. From now until August 10 (first day of school), school supplies will be collected in the Clubhouse Ballroom and the HFC. Below is a suggested list of supplies needed. Gift cards and monetary donations are welcome. Checks can be made out to Carolyn Bishop.
