LA LO O K S LAKE ASHTON (LW) ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMM I T T E E ( A R C ) By Bob Sosinski The Lake Ashton Architectural Review Committee is committed to maintaining the beautiful aesthetics of our community and homes. We require all homeowners to submit an Architectural Change Request whenever you are making changes or repairs to the exterior of you home. After you submit an ARC Change Request, your area ARC Representative will review the request with you regarding compliance and completeness of the Request. This process ensures that all changes conform to the requirements of the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the Association as well as to the Architectural guidelines. A common omission in submitting an Architectural Change Request is to not include a plot plan with dimensions when adding structures such as a lanai or adding or modifying landscape beds or pavers. These types of changes cannot be approved without a plot plan showing dimension. All new homeowners received a copy of the survey with their closing documents from the developer. Copies of the surveys are available from the Lake Wales Building Department. A copy of the survey, marked up to show the proposed changes, is the mos t acceptable means to sat i s fy thi s requirement. The Architectural Review Committee is looking for volunteers to serve on the committee and who want to meet and work with fellow residents to help maintain Lake Ashton as one of the premier 55+ communities n in Central Florida.
