EVENTS DECADES DANCE Groove to the sounds through the decades with DJ Wayne on June 26 in the Clubhouse Ballroom at 7 pm! Dress up in the garb from your favorite decade and take pictures at the different decade photo op areas in the room. Partygoers can even take part in a table decorating contest! Sign up to decorate your table in your favorite decade; a tablecloth will be provided for you. The winners will receive a prize and will be featured in the LA Times. Tickets: $5. Don’t forget to BYOB! NATIONAL CORVETTE DAY Calling all Corvette owners and admirers! Celebrate National Corvette Day with an all-Corvette show in the Clubhouse west parking lot on June 30 from 3 - 6 pm as part of the Lake Ashton 250th USA Anniversary Celebration. A Corvette cruise-in will start at the HFC at 2:30 pm and end at the Clubhouse. A cruise-in route will be advertised via email blast for residents to enjoy the spectacle on wheels! All residents and their guests are welcomed to ooh and ah at the cars on display down at the Clubhouse while getting food from the food truck. Resident Corvette owners that would like to participate will need to register online by June 24. RED, WHITE, AND BLUE TIE-DYE CLASS Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with your own tie-dye design! Join Carmen on June 26 at 1 pm or Caroline on July 1 at 11 am for a tie-dye class. You will be supplied with the instructions and all supplies for only $15 per person. SUMMER MUSIC SERIES JULY 24 - THE DUKES 7 PM AT THE CLUBHOUSE The Dukes keep the music of the 50's & 60's alive by singing their unique blend of Doo Wop and Rock & Roll. Enjoy dancing and singing along to songs by Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly, and many more. 26 AUGUST 14 - BIGTIME JUKEBOX 6 PM AT THE HFC A 5-piece group performing the best country music across generations, from the 1950s to today.
