LAMGA By David Kubissa May kicked off with a salute to Cinco de Mayo involving a pick-your-partner competition and taco luncheon, one of many golf-and-lunch events this year. The next one will be July 9 – a “Sweat and Swing” pick-your-foursome game to include a hot dog bar afterwards. The top gross winners of the May 7 Cinco de Mayo game were: Flight 1: Dan Baun and Rolly Geyer. Flight 2: Tom Schoendorf and Terry Guinn. Flight 3: Paul Fichtman and Matt Kosek. For those LAMGA members who will be away this summer, there’s another golf-and-lunch game you won’t want to miss on September 17, called “Fall Opener.” A pick-your-partner event with a shepherd’s pie lunch. Signups for both games will be posted on the LAMGA bulletin one week before the golf-lunch events.
