EVENTS INTRO TO PICKLEBALL & FRIENDLY COMPETITION Join your friends and neighbors and learn how to play pickleball, no registration or sign up needed. Just show up at 8 am on July 3 at the HFC Pickleball Courts. PATRIOTIC PUPPY PARADE Bring your pup out to the Pavilion July 3 at 10 am to line up to parade through the Garden. There will be a puppy water play area and goodie bags for the anyone who pre-registers. ALL-AMERICAN SUMMER NIGHT Refreshingly juicy watermelon, a dip in the pool, and classic summer tunes are all things that come to mind when you think of a classic, all-American summer night. Gather your friends for a FREE summer night party at the Clubhouse pool and patio on July 3, 5 to 7 pm. Stay for the special showing of Hamilton by the pool at 7 pm! GALA GOLF CART PARADE Gather in front of the Lake Ashton Veterans Memorial at 9 am on July 4 to hear a proclamation read regarding America’s 250th Anniversary, and then enjoy the Golf Cart Parade that steps off from the Clubhouse at 10 am. The parade will end at the HFC for a food truck rally and officials from both the Lake Wales and Winter Haven City Councils, Boy and Girl Scout troops, a number of Lake Ashton military veterans and other VIPs will participate. PATRIOTIC DANCE After the parade, gather at the HFC for a Patriotic Dance that is FREE to all residents! Enjoy live music by Lake Ashton’s own Perfect Pitch Band. Food trucks will be on site, and BYOB! SUMMER MUSIC SERIES JULY 24 - THE DUKES 7 PM AT THE CLUBHOUSE The Dukes keep the music of the 50's & 60's alive by singing their unique blend of Doo Wop and Rock & Roll. Enjoy dancing and singing along to songs by Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly, and many more. AUGUST 14 - BIGTIME JUKEBOX 6 PM AT THE HFC A 5-piece group performing the best country music across generations, from the 1950s to today.
