LA CERAMIC CHICS By Shari Gleber In November, we held a class to learn about using transfer paper to put designs on bisque, taught by our member, Diane Mavuro. Check out the photos of this fun & easy process. Upcoming will be a class on using decals. Members took a roadtrip in December to Seagull Ceramics in Clearwater to purchase items in both greenware and in bisque. Stop by to see us at the Lake Ashton Club Fair on Thursday, January 29 at the 30 Clubhouse from 10 am to 2 pm. No experience with painting ceramics? No Problem! Everything needed to get started is available along with lots of guidance and friendly crafters willing to help. After you spend a class or two with us to see if you like ceramics, membership is $20 annually to assist with the purchase of kiln supplies and maintenance - no charge to members for firing of projects. Come out to meet our friendly members and create something beautiful!
