MID ATLANTIC PARTY By David Harrison SUPER BOWL PARTY It's time again to have fun at the Mid Atlantic Party on February 6 at 5 pm in the HFC. Anyone who has ever lived or worked in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey is invited. Menu consists of fried chicken, homemade crab cake, and a soft drink for $20. The location is the HFC because there you can BYOB. Tickets go on sale January 3 at the HFC Activities Desk with a check only, payable to Mid Atlantic Party. Choose white or dark meat chicken and crab cake preference when you sign up. Please bring a side, salad, or dessert and serving utensil to serve eight. Tickets will be sold until January 24 or 120 are sold. February 6 is the Sunday before Super Bowl, and there is no football. The party kicks off on Sunday, February 13 at 4 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Enjoy great food from Ashton Tap & Grill, drink fantastic beer (or other beverages — one free beer, wine or soda is included with your ticket purchase), play football themed games, and have fun. Don’t drop the ball — get your tickets at the Clubhouse Activities Desk starting January 10 after Monday Coffee for $25 with a check (LACDD), Visa, or MasterCard. 2022 FINE ARTS & PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW The 14th Annual Lake Ashton Fine Arts & Photography Show has a new date of March 19 in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Lake Ashton Photographers and Artists can pick up entry forms and info at the Clubhouse Activities Desk after the new year. There will be a general informational meeting January 22 and entry forms are due February 4. Thanks to the excellent sponsors, there is no fee to enter your art and photography work. The show is open to all Lake Ashton residents — attendance is free and refreshments will be provided. 2022 SHOWCASE By Karen Nelson The countdown is on!
