When the call went out to the community for support of "Toys for Tots", you responded, again, like you always do … with kindness and generosity. Your contributions will most certainly put a smile on the faces of many young people this holiday season. Well done! And many thanks to the HFC staff who helped with this effort, especially Krystle, who would call at least twice a week with the same five welcomed words: "The box is full again!” You are great, HFC. The need this year was even greater than last year and you responded by exceeding last year's generous donations. A special thank you to BOLLA who donated 65 blankets, Sew What who donated 75 handmade items, and the LA Niners who donated 213 gifts. The Lake Wales Care Center passes along their heartfelt "thank you" to everyone. You helped make a very merry Christmas for so many families in the area. Your generosity and kindness are very much appreciated. THANK YOU FROM THE LA BENEF IT ASSOCIATION A huge thank you to the many Lake Ashton residents who have helped us raise funds for the local schools. It took many hands to run the Casino Night Benefit and we are so very grateful for all the time and effort you have given over the years. The schools have been very appreciative of our help.
