Lost and Found items will frequently be displayed at Monday Coffee and may be donated to local charities if not claimed. Get introduced to the community, and meet other new residents and community leaders. HOMELESS GRADUATING SENIORS MONDAY COFFEE PRESENTATION FEB . 9 By Doris Reisinger Come to the Monday Coffee February 9and hear the speaker Mr. Ben Ruch. He is originally from Saratoga Springs, NY and came down to Florida to attend college at Southeastern in 2003 and got his BA in Psychology. He has served students and families experiencing homelessness for over 16 years, first serving as the Director of the emergency family shelter for the Lakeland Salvation Army from 2009 to 2016. In 2016 he transitioned to working for the Polk County Public School with the Homeless Education Program (Hearth Project) as a Homeless Advocate. In 2019 he took over as the Homeless Liaison overseeing the Hearth Project. He will welcome your questions and comments and donations, financial or domestic items, will also be accepted at the meeting. Both Activities Desks are also accepting donations.
