GOLF MESSAGE FROM THE PRO SHOP By Kevin Baker, General Manager I am very excited to share the continued momentum of our Simply Healthy initiative, which we launched in January in partnership with our Garden team. We had a wonderful kickoff meeting and look forward to helping Lake Ashton residents better understand the importance of staying healthy through a simple, enjoyable approach to golf and everyday activities. I hope you are enjoying our new seasonal menu. Moving forward, the menu will be refreshed four times per year to reflect the seasons, so please stop by and experience our latest offerings. In addition, be on the lookout for more fun and engaging events, including Karaoke Nights every other Friday, a new Monthly Prime Rib Night on select Fridays, and a Quarterly Sunday Brunch. We are also introducing quarterly Course Initiative Meetings. These interactive sessions will cover golf course initiatives, programs, and upcoming projects, and will include on-course demonstrations to help residents better understand the challenges and opportunities facing the Lake Ashton golf courses. As always, please feel free to stop by the office to discuss any thoughts or ideas you may have. If you would like to schedule a longer meeting, simply email us to arrange a convenient time. I look forward to seeing you around the club. LALGA By Beverly Hines February is known for love (Valentine's Day) & is also Friendship Month. For February, let’s highlight a month about love and acceptance of those around us. The LALGA ladies will be enjoying an annual Member-Member Tournament on February 9 and 10th. First day will be best ball of partners, gross and net, and the second day will be a scramble with a 2-drive minimum each 9 holes. We will be enjoying a wonderful lunch at the Eagles Nest on the second day. The theme for this tournament will be FORE THE LOVE OF GOLF with theme colors of navy, green or white. Of course, pictures will be taken with our theme backdrop. This is always a fun event for our group, and we should have a great turnout.
