FUSED GLASS CLASSES BEYOND THE BASICS: Four Thursdays — February 9, 16, 23, and March 2 from 9 am to 12 pm at the HFC Craft Room. Cost is $100 and includes all four classes, which must be paid in advance to Jill Groves, 6305 Pinehurst Loop, Winter Haven 33884. Jill will prepare new experiences & techniques each week, building on the last. You will come away with at least four finished projects. Basics of Wire-Wrapping: February 24, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Clubhouse Craft Room. Cost $20, paid at the class. Pre-registration required at the Clubhouse Information Wall. Use wire to wrap your favorite shell or pendant. Bring your own or some will be provided. CERAMIC CHICKS Mary Bosman, Duncan Certified Instructor Wednesdays, 8 am to 1 pm, HFC Craft Room Bring your ceramics or purchase in the room. A kiln is available to fire your ceramics. BOB ROSS OIL PAINTING Instructor: Kay Lenherr February 11 at 1 pm Clubhouse Craft Room Snowfall Magic $35, payable at class. Sign up at the Clubhouse Information Wall by noon on February 10. WATERCOLOR WORKSHOPS Instructor: Freddie Combs Subject matter will be still life, florals and beach related items. Sessions are February 10, and March 10 from 9 am - 3 pm in the HFC with a break for a sack lunch. Those attending should arrive at least 15 42 minutes prior to class start time to allow time for prep work before class begins. Students will create two watercolor paintings per session. Price per session is $50. All new students should contact the artist at 864-307-1244. A sign-up sheet will be at the HFC Activities Desk. WINE GLASS PAINTING Create a beautiful custom wine glass, hand-painted by you! For $35, each painter will receive step-bystep instructions to create two permanent, washable, and beautifully decorated wine glasses. The instructor will supply each painter with two wine glasses and all paints and brushes needed on February 10 at 3 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Stop by the Activities Office with a check made out to Sheila Vertoli to reserve your spot. CREATE A CARD Please join the group on February 15 to create your own lovely greeting cards. A guest expert will provide instruction, from beginner to expert, all supplies and equipment, and three beautiful cards to take home. No experience needed. Classes will be held in the HFC Sports Court at 9:30 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Cost is $10. Sign up sheets are located in the HFC. Sign up soon as reservations go quickly. CRAFTING WITH CARMEN Carmen is coming back with another fun, creative craft to decorate your home, pizza pan door hangers! Yes, you read that right, you will be using a pizza pan (provided) to make a simple yet cute welcome sign for your door. Join in on the crafting fun on March 30 at 11:30 am in the Clubhouse Ballroom.
