HOMELESS GRADUATING SENIORS By Doris Reisinger Don’t miss Monday Coffee on March 13, as Vickie Griffiths will be in attendance for her presentation. She will also be bringing a special guest, Julio Caba, who was homeless in high school but went on to a very successful career with help from people who cared. He now comes back every year to speak at the graduation party for these homeless students. He will also speak about another more recent success story from Polk County! The count of homeless students graduating this year is 135, of which 50 have no family! Make sure and sign the banner of congratulations. Any donation large or small is greatly appreciated. Checks, gift cards or domestic items can be dropped off at the Clubhouse or HFC Activities Offices, or you can contact Doris directly at miker0343@yahoo.com or 217-652-6636.
