Gina was born and raised in We s t Vi rg i n i a , and wa s e d u c a t e d a t M a r s h a l l University and West Virginia University. She was an educator at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels and holds multiple degrees. She met her husband Al at a dance at the Elks Club and they will be married 32 years this Thanksgiving Day. They have a son, a stepson and two grandchildren ages 4 and 10. She has been a snowbird since 2019 in Lake Ashton and has owned several homes, renovating each one. She is the true “energizer bunny.” She fell in love with the entrance to Lake Ashton, and feels like she is living in Paradise. “The people are friendly and I have met so many good people through golf,” according to Gina. She loves golfing and only started playing seven years ago. Sharon Woods invited her to play with the LALGA and voilà, she is a member! Gina has many hobbies but her face lights up when talking about cruising. Both she and Al love to cruise and have enjoyed visiting many unique countries and cultures. In addition to cruising and golf, Gina LOVES the weather in Florida, dancing, reading, socializing with friends and walking. Welcome to Lake Ashton, Gina! The LALGA is glad you have decided to join in the fun!
