HOLIDAY CLASSIC CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT Back by popular demand, HFC will be holding a Holiday Classic Cornhole Tournament on December 7 from 9 am to 2 pm with an hour break for lunch at 11am. It will consist of 2 player teams and single eliminations. Hopefully this event will be filled with 24 teams. Stop by the HFC today to sign up your team! ENTERTAINMENT BY THE ASHTONES Lake Ashton’s own "Ashtones" quartet will be serenading table side at Ashton Tap & Grill on December 14 from 5 to 8 pm. They will sing a lot of Christmas carols as well as some gospel and some "oldies" four-part harmony. These are the same guys who sang the National Anthem for the Orlando Magic basketball game. Don, Marlon, Jerry and Danny look forward to seeing you there! CHRISTMAS CONCERT The Faith Xtreme Choir will be performing a Christmas concert "A Light in the Darkness" for Lake Ashton December 15 at 6 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. This is a multimedia event as they tell the Christmas Story through music, pictures, videos and stories from the Bible. Please stop by the Clubhouse Activities Desk to pick up your free ticket. Seating is first come first served. There is no charge for this concert, but donations are encouraged and will be collected at the concert. All money raised will be used by Faith Xtreme to purchase gifts for underprivileged children and stuffed animals for nursing home residents. HOLIDAY GOLF CART PARADE It’s that time of year again, time to start pulling down the decorations and adorning your golf cart with Holiday Cheer! Golf carts, bicycles, pets, specialty cars and walkers are all welcome. The parade will be held December 17. Line up begins at the HFC at 5:30 pm and the parade kicks off at 6. The parade will end at the Clubhouse where there will be light refreshments and a sing-a-long with the LAdybugs Quartet. The route will go from the HFC along Pebble Beach Blvd, turn right on Torrey Pines then left on Dunmore, right on Limerick then right on Dunmore again. Right on Ashton Club Blvd to the Clubhouse. Residents who currently have recurring activities booked at the HFC can renew them for the 2022 year DECEMBER 1 — 3. New reservations for activities in 2022 can be scheduled DECEMBER 6 — 8. Residents can show up between 8 am and 4 pm on the above corresponding days. There will be an hour lunch break for staff at 11 am. There will be an email blast sent out with more details.
