LA ( LW) ARC By Iris Realmuto, LW ARC Chair New ARC Submission Process for Lake Wales The ARC submission process is going completely online. Starting August 1, ARC Requests should be submitted at arc.lakeashtonhoa.org. The website will guide you through the process and help ensure that your paperwork is complete, and that the ARC review should go through smoothly. Go to arc.lakeashtonhoa.org and type in your email address. You will then be prompted to create a new account. An email fr om noreply@arctracker.email will be sent to you confirming the registration. Make sure to add this address to your contacts as this will be the email all ARC communication will come from. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be able to log in and enter an ARC Request (see top left). You will also be able to see all current ARC Requests from residents, request paint books, view the ARC Guidelines. Once you’ve created your ARC Request, you will be able to follow the status of your ARC Request and communicate with ARC Reps should any questions arise. If you need assistance, the HOA Office is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to noon or call Iris Realmuto at 603-759-3513. HOW GRASS CL IPPINGS AFFECT PONDS The majority of home owners use a lawn care contractor to maintain their lawns. During the hot summer months, contractors are in a hurry to beat the heat and use less awareness when mowing properties that border ponds. When grass clippings are introduced to a pond, they increase the nutrient levels making it more likely to cause algae to bloom. Please remind lawn care contractors to mow with the chute closed or in a direction to where the clippings are not blown into the pond. Contact Matt Fisher, Operations Manager, at mfisher@lakeashtoncdd.com with any questions regarding aquatic maintenance in any ponds located in Lake Wales.
