GOLF LAMGA By David Kubissa A lot of happy golfers walked away from the annual LAMGA Member-Guest tournament held from March 7-9. Many of the smiling faces belonged to top finishers in the three-day tournament, while others cheerfully settled for a good time amid great weather, tasty meals, a wide array of top-notch raffle prizes and the joy of golfing camaraderie. In all, 120 golfers participated in an event made possible by about 70 businesses and services whose sponsorship signs decorated the golf course at each tee. Sponsors were not the only source of success for the tournament. Invaluable help from the pro shop team, volunteers and the Eagle’s Nest staff played a big part in the event.
