The procedure computes the differences between values of the two variables for each case and tests whether the average differs from 0. In Vilavancode taluk, from pair 1 to pair 3, pair 6, pair 8 and pair 9 are accepted, there is no significant among the pairs, and remaining pair 4, pair 5, pair 7 and pair 10 are rejected, because there is a significant among the pairs. In Thovalai taluk, from pair 4 to pair 9, pair 2 are accepted, there is no significant among the pairs, and remaining pair 1, pair 3, and pair 10 are rejected, because there is a significant among the pairs. 115
