MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dear HBRA Members, Happy Thanksgiving! Here we are almost at the end of the year. It is hard to believe the time has flown by so quickly. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have many things to be thankful for. These last few weeks were filled with some special events. The 1st Annual Bowl-a-rama was a fun-filled evening and a major success with 120 bowlers. The HBRA Bowling Cup is now at home at Smarthome & Theater Systems, the 2017 High Score Team winners. We had another great membership meeting at County TV & Appliance. Special thanks to the Vetrini’s for hosting. This year’s HOBI award dinner was the largest to date with 880 attending. Congratulations to all of the Fairfield County award winners! See page 17 for the list of winners. You can also visit our website for the award categories. Be sure to register for the 2nd annual Holiday Cocktail Party on December 13th at O’Neill’s Pub in South Norwalk. This year we bought out the pub from 6PM-9PM. Food and open bar for 3 hours, but we are limited to 150 attendees and we will SELL OUT - register ASAP! Our first NAHB certification class is being offered on December 6, 7, & 8th. The Certified Aging in Place certification is one of the most widely requested. See page 34 for information.
