Hall of Fame The Fairfield County HBRA Hall of Fame is presented to member(s) who has demonstrated consistent dedication and service over an extended period of years and who has made extraordinary contributions of their time, financial resources, and outstanding leadership skills in direct service to the HBRA, and whose service has had a significant impact on the HBRA. Gary Fanali City Carting & Recycling Kim DiMatteo DiMatteo Group G ary Fanali, the Director of Sales and Marketing for City Carting & Recycling, LLC. based in Stamford, CT, that has been providing a full range of refuse and recycling collection and disposal services to literally thousands of commercial, institutional and municipal customers for more than 35 years in Fairfield and New Haven counties and Westchester County, NY. Gary has been with City Carting & Recycling since 2002, hired to develop and staff a sales business model that has been second to none since. The recent merger with Tunnel Hill Partners connects the dots to the largest shipper of waste-by-rail in the United States, with transfer stations in CT., New York, New Jersey, Boston and Long Island. Gary has been an active member for many year and has served three 3-year terms on the Board of Directors, and is currently a Life Director for the HBRA of Fairfield County. He is happily married to Dana his wife of 29 years and has 3 sons Gary, Michael, and Dante. Gary is actively involved in his local church. ! K im DiMatteo has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years, specializing in the Construction and Real Estate industries, and is a Trusted Advisor to her clients and strategic alliances. Kim has been an active member of the HBRA for over 25 years and has been a chairwoman and member on a multitude of committees. Elected to the Board of Directors in 1995, she was an officer and served three terms. A Life Director on the board, when the need arose for a Treasurer, she was elected as an officer again in 2014 and is currently the Vice President of the Executive Committee and a National Director in NAHB. Kim is also on the CT State Board of Directors and the State Executive Committee. She has been honored over the years with the, Fairfield HBRA Associate of the Year and Women of the Year; Bethany Citizen of the Year and the Commercial Records Women of Fire.
