MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear HBRA Members, My goal when becoming President of the HBRA of Fairfield County in 2016 was to leave the organization better than when I arrived. We have seen tremendous growth in my tenure as President and I am proud of all that we have accomplished. CHRIS STEINER | STEINER INC. We have succeeded because of the knowledge and support of our members and their willingness to volunteer. We have grown because of the confidence that our sponsors have in the value of our organization. And, of course, we are ever growing and improving because of the dedication of our staff. A few notable stats: • Our membership has increased 12% in 2017 • Our Home Tour, a new event created in 2017, resulted in 3 of the 4 participating homes selling within 3 weeks of the tour dates • Our golf outing has sold out every year • We are consistently averaging over 120 members at our monthly meetings • Our annual meeting had attendance of over 270 and raised $9,000 for charities These are only a few of the highlights. In 2017, for the first time, we were also able to print and design the majority of our marketing materials in house at a huge savings to this organization. HBRA of Fairfield County offers members countless benefits and networking opportunities. I encourage all of our members to do business with other members and refer them whenever possible.
