MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dear Members, JACKIE BERTOLONE | HBRA EO Last year, the Home Builders and Remodelers Association (HBRA) of Fairfield County celebrated its 70th anniversary—a truly remarkable achievement for a trade association made up of a large variety of businesses. We begin 2018 with over 450 members including builders, material suppliers, subcontractors, lending institutions and designers. HBRA of Fairfield County seeks to help our members grow through legislative advocacy, training and educational programs, and our campaign of members doing business with members. Our General Membership Meetings are host to 120-150 attendees that provide members with opportunities to network and bring in new business. Through our membership affiliations with HBRA of Connecticut and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), our members have a voice in Washington and Hartford. We work to keep our members informed on legislation impacting our industry and ways to help effect legislative change. These affiliations also provide exclusive member benefits that can save businesses hundreds or thousands of dollars on important business costs. My mission as the new Executive Officer is to continue to help promote, protect and improve the building industry here in Connecticut. I hope this directory is a useful tool for you and your business, and you will use it to refer other members and recruit new ones.
