MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dear HBRA Members, We end 2017 with many wonderful events, numerous new members and some really great memories. It is especially the memories that I will carry with me as I move on to the next adventure in my career. It was a hard decision to leave the HBRA, but I know that the fine work we all started will carry on and the organization will continue to blossom. There are so many to thank for my time here, but most especially the following: • The Officers and the Board of Directors, without whose support I could not have done my job. • The VIP Circle Sponsors for your support and loyalty to the association and me. • All of the Committee Chairs and Members for your amazing ideas and willingness to take on new projects and events. • My staff, Sarah and Clare, without whom I wouldn’t have been able to pull off the sold out events and office duties. Gina Calabro But most of all, thank you to the HBRA members! You have made our events special and fun. You have helped elevate the organization in so many ways that when non-members attend they want join and be a part of this remarkable group. But most of all your support has been so valuable. I will miss you all! I bid you all a fond farewell but it’s not forever. I hope to have a joint venture with the AIA and HBRA and work together on future projects. Wishing you all Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year! All the Best, 6 HBRA of Fairfield County | DECEMBER 2017
