Installation Banquet The final ceremony, Installation of the 2018 President, was performed by Mark Fulford to have all witness the oath and commitment of Chris Matteo as our incoming President. Chris received the President’s Gavel, provided by Benchmark Title Company, along with the official NAHB Local President Pin. Chris’ incoming speech discussed one of the most important things to the HBA - Membership! Membership has many meanings - it can be business connections, staying current on industry challenges, opportunities, comradery etc. Overall the HBA is here to improve our businesses and the lives of everyone we work with. Members mean everything to the HBA, they would not exist without members, their knowledge, service, time, expertise, connections and so on. If every member would recruit just one member we would not only double in size but think about the influence we would have on our industry, on our state and most importantly on our businesses. “I believe in the HBA and what it stands for and how it helps all of our businesses and our great industry. Our HBA is one of the largest locals in the state and has one of the highest retention rates of its members.
