JULY 10, 2026 RESOURCES Easy strawberry dessert ELIZABETH BAUMAN Groundcover contributor Ingredients: 3 cups strawberries 1/2 cup heavy cream 2 tablespoons brown sugar Directions: Remove stems and wash and cut the strawberries into marble-sized pieces. Use a fork to crush and mash the strawberries (rough, chunky texture with plenty of juice rather than a smooth puree). Place in the fridge for 1 hour. Remove from the fridge and sprinkle the brown sugar over the strawberries. Pour the cream over the mixture and crush slightly then stir to combine. Serve immediately in small dessert dishes. Absentee voting started June 25. Optional early voting started July 6. Mandatory early voting starts July 25. Election day is Tuesday, August 4 (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)! WHO CAN VOTE? Voters must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and must have lived in the city/township in which they registered for 30 days.
