AUSTRALIAN MEN’S HANDICAPPING SYSTEM ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– A player shall have an Australian Handicap only and thi allotted by his nominated Home Club. It is the responsibility of the player to report to his Hom scores returned by him at other clubs. 1. All scores for handicap will be calculated by the U “Rolling Sample” method. The USGA handicap f based on averaging the BEST handicap differen player’s handicap record. If a player’s handica contains 20 scores, the best 8 handicap differentials to calculate the player’s exact handicap. TIES IN COMPETITION ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Ties in competition shall be decided by count back as d or by play off as the Match Committee may from tim decide. 1. Stroke Play (a) Scratch events which end in a tie will be dec count back in the following manner. (i) For 18 hole events, the best score for t holes will be used.
