You can book a civil marriage ceremony with the Town if you're looking for a simple, non-religious ceremony. Ceremonies are conducted at Victoria Hall in the historic court room. If you’re looking to apply for a marriage licence visit Cobourg.ca/weddings for step-by-step instructions. All marriage licence applications must be completed online. The Mayor’s Office is located at Victoria Hall 55 King St. W. Cobourg’s Town Council is the legislative body that represents the citizens of Cobourg and is comprised of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and five (5) Councilors who serve for a four-year term.
