RECREATION & PROGRAMMING Teams, Clubs & Associations Pickleball Outdoor Pickleball The Town of Cobourg has two outdoor Pickleball Courts located at Peter Delanty Park and Sinclair Park. Courts are free to use, however the courts can be booked for games, tournaments, or other recreational activities. Indoor Pickleball Through the Cobourg Seniors Activity Centre programming, the Cobourg Community Centre offers weekly open court times. The CCC has an active membership base who are always looking for new players. Cobourg Pickleball Club The Cobourg Pickleball club welcomes all those interested in the game of pickleball to join us. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America with courts popping up around the world. We have beginner, intermediate and advanced playing options. We play outdoors from the middle of May until Thanksgiving weekend at Sinclair park. We have tournaments and social events. Contact Information: cobourgtaekwondo.ca Rugby Cobourg Saxons Rugby The Cobourg Saxons Rugby Club offers a wide variety of rugby programs from Co-Ed Minor Flag Rugby through to Women’s Touch Rugby. Flag rugby, an introduction to the sport of rugby, is offered for Under 8 and Under 10 age groups. Introduction to Contact, a modified form of contact rugby, starts at Under 12. Junior rugby is offered to boys and girls in Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 categories. Senior Rugby is for men and women 18 years and older. The Saxons also have both an Over 35 Men’s Team and Women’s Touch Rugby Team. The Saxons home pitch is at Westwood Park.
