Singing Groups & Bands Choral Legacy Choral Legacy is a local women's choir who sing three part harmony in a wide variety of musical styles – from classical to jazz to show tunes. The band motto, “Pride of Performance”, has gained a fine reputation especially in the formal concert setting of the band’s own Summer Concert Series every Tuesday evening in the months of July and August at the Victoria Park Bandshell. The group sings a fun variety of music from Pop and Motown to Folk, to a touch of Country and Blues. The choir learns from recorded tracks so there is no requirement to read music. With over 100 performing members in both the orchestra and choir, the NOC performs 6-8 concerts per year including performances in collaboration with SONG (Sounds of the Next Generation), Kawartha Lakes Singers, La Jeunesse Choir, La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra, Quinte Symphony and many talented and internationally renowned guests.
