Bylaw Enforcement & Licensing What We Do For Residents Animal Control Dog Tags Licensing Municipal Law Enforcement now provides on-call officers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to all concerns involving animal services. Every dog residing in the Town of Cobourg is required to have and wear a current dog tag. Owners must renew their Animal License each year. The Town administers various licenses and permits for businesses, individuals and organizations to ensure public health and safety, consumer protection, fairness in business practices, and quality control of service. Regulatory Bylaw Enforcement The Town of Cobourg By-law Enforcement Staff and Officers are responsible for enforcement of all Municipal By-laws to ensure a safe quiet and pleasant environment for all residents and visitors.
