GROUPS, CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS Community Resources & Support Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland provides confidential, community-based programs for children, youth, and families. With over 70 volunteers, we offer proactive support that fosters positive change. We work closely with families and accept referrals from parents, schools, agencies, and law enforcement to connect them with the right resources for success. Contact Information: rcys.ca NHH Walk-In Counselling Clinic for Adults & Youth Free counselling for ages 7+ is available at NHH’s Mental Health Services in Cobourg on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Clients meet with a case manager and receive same-day therapy. Offered in partnership with Rebound Child & Youth Services and Community Health Centres of Northumberland, visits are unlimited. Contact Information: nhh.ca/walk-in-counselling Northumberland Humane Society: Pet Food Bank The NHS Pet Aid Program offers financial support to low-income pet owners in Northumberland County for spay and neuter surgeries. Additionally, the Pet Food Bank provides a two-week supply of pet food for residents in need. Contact Information: northumberlandhs.com/services/#petfood Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank The Fare Share Food Banks goal is to alleviate hunger within Northumberland County by providing access to food for those in need. If you are new to either of the Food Bank locations, please bring identification with you for each family member that will require assistance. Alongside Coats for Kids, The Salvation Army offers various programs, including food cupboards, backpacks for kids, baby formula assistance, recovery programs, and emergency support.
