THEY’LL BE HAPPIER AT HOME We love pets. You love pets. But let’s be honest—they’re not here for the food trucks or the crowds. The Cobourg Waterfront Festival is hot, busy, loud, and full of distractions: music, fireworks, food everywhere (on the ground, in hands, falling off plates…)—and while it’s all fun for us, it’s a lot for our fourlegged friends. Even the most easygoing pets can get overwhelmed, protective, or just plain stressed out in this environment. And frankly, dodging dropped hot dogs isn’t their idea of a great day. So while we’d love to see every wagging tail, we ask that you leave pets at home where they can enjoy the air conditioning and peace and quiet. (Service animals, of course, are always welcome in line with AODA guidelines.) This policy keeps everyone safer—visitors, vendors, and especially your pet. Skip the stress. Let them nap.
