CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME the very best of luck in rising to the new challenge they will face this season. Our 1XV are back at Level 6 after an 6-season absence, our 2XV will be looking to continue their unbeaten record in the NOWIRUL Division 1 and our 3XV and 4XV teams will be aiming to fulfil every fixture with a full bench. There’s been good commitment to preseason training and with the return of former club captain Paul Makinson as Men's Defence Coach and a new Junior Colts team stepping up things are looking positive for the future. Women’s rugby also continues to grow at Eccles with the emergence of a Ladies 2XV team and the return of former Captain Katie Houghton from Sale Sharks in a new role as coach. And with our thriving Minis and Juniors section continuing to pack out our pitches you can be sure of plenty of entertaining rugby to watch Saturdays and Sundays at the 2024 Lancashire Club of the Year! Non of this success would be possible of course without the invaluable, continued assistance we receive from our sponsors.
