HEAD COACH NOTES A very warm welcome and a Happy New Year to everyone attending Gorton Street this beautiful late January afternoon. I hope everyone made the most of the Christmas period and all the festivities that comes with it. Today we welcome old friends Aldwinians RUFC. These clubs have had many a good battle over the years with the spoils going the way of our visitors in the meeting earlier in the season over at Aldwinians. The Eccles squad is really looking to continue to develop its style of play and to understand how getting our accuracy nearer to 90% is the key to us being successful at what we do. Eccles are still definitely in a rebuilding stage as a new group but although we were on the wrong side of the results in a lot of the games prior to the Christmas break we were extremely happy about how we wanted to play the game in most of those contests.
