Broomhead be made an Hon, Life Member in recognition of his past services to the club. Seconded by the President (R. W. Hampson). All in favour. 10th March, 1952, 70 years ago The water in the bath was lukewarm on Saturday though it was still running in hot. It was decided that no cold water be put in the bath to start with. An invitation had been received from the Manchester club asking us to participate in their Sevens. It was agreed to accept. 17th March, 1952, 70 years ago Resolution proposed by A. R. Gilbody and seconded by E. S. Mayor that Tom Povey and Frank Yates to be elected to Hon. Life Membership in recognition of their long and meritorous services to the club. This was agreed unanimously. Match results v Metro Vicks - 3 wins. 1st XV won 13-8, "A"XV won 14-3, Extra "A" won 23-3
