Last year’s tournament inspired her to dedicate herself to roller derby. “The BIPOC Bowl was my first experience at a tournament,” Q said. “I volunteered because I wasn’t skateready. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. After that weekend I was like, ‘this is what I wanted to do.
