新加坡視像交流 Chu Yan has been in partnership with Greenridge Primary School, Singapore, since 2017. We have collaborated through visits to both schools and virtual sessions, where we have learned a lot about the culture of both our cities and schools. It was immensely fortunate to keep the relationship of both of our schools and celebrate our respective anniversaries over the years. On 26th October, 2023, students from the Gifted Class participated in an online exchange with Primary 5 to 6 students at Greenridge Primary School in Singapore. The exchange began with greetings from the principals of both schools. Following that, the students were allocated to different groups for the exchange. Our students provided introductions about the attractions, food, and festivals in Hong Kong. The experience was enlightening for them because they had the chance to interact with students from another country. They had a great time and felt delighted while online chatting. All of the students are looking forward to visiting Greenridge Primary School in Singapore in April. 視像交流分享會開始了 Cheng Ching Tung, Season (5A) We had a Zoom meeting with Greenridge Primary School in Singapore. I felt very excited because this was my first time to meet the students from Singapore. We had a topic sharing time. I was assigned to talk about ‘Food in Hong Kong.’ I introduced curry fish balls at the food stalls. They also thought curry fish balls should be delicious after my sharing. I invited them to try curry fish balls when they come to Hong Kong. Then they shared their hobbies with us. At the end, we took a group photo over Zoom. I had a fantastic experience. I felt great! 本校學生介紹香港的地道小吃 學生充滿自信以英語與 新加坡學校老師交流 Chau Le Yue, Lisa (5A) We did an online exchange with Singaporean students. The topic of my group was ‘Festivals in Hong Kong’. During the Zoom session, we first introduced ourselves. Then we gave our presentation on festivals. I talked about Chinese New Year. Athena introduced Mid-Autumn Festival, and Leo presented the facts about Dragon Boat Festival. At the end, we took an online photo with all the participants.
