PRECIOUS PETS he Fawcett family—Stephanie, Trevor, Holland, and Brooks—share their home with not one, but three furry friends: Goldendoodles Enzo and Whiskey, and their feline companion, Wilson, a five-year-old Siberian cat with a personality as big as his fur coat. Wilson came into the Fawcett household as a Middle MEET WILSON FAWCETT The cat who thinks he’s a dog! School graduation gift for Brooks, who had always dreamed of having a kitty of his own. Since some family members are allergic to cats, the search led them to the Siberian breed, known for being hypoallergenic. After months on a breeder’s waiting list, Wilson joined the family in August 2020—perfect timing for bringing joy and laughter during the long days of COVID. Brooks, a loyal Seattle Seahawks fan, chose Wilson’s name as a tribute to quarterback Russell Wilson. The name stuck perfectly, and soon it became clear that Wilson lived up to his namesake’s confident, take-charge energy! What makes Wilson truly special is his dog-like personality. He doesn’t just coexist with Enzo and Whiskey—he wrestles with them! Whether stalking, tackling, or playfully pinning them down, Wilson holds his own among his canine brothers. At home, Wilson is nothing short of royalty. He sleeps on an extra pillow above Stephanie’s head, and when he hops into bed, the dogs immediately make room for him. He loves to “make cookies” on fluffy blankets and has a sweet habit of placing a paw (or sometimes two!) gently on your face when you hold him like a baby—earning him the nickname “Two Paws.” Wilson’s affectionate, fearless nature makes him the heart of the household. Always eager to be near his people, he truly believes he runs the place—and honestly, the Fawcetts agree. Around the house, he’s affectionately known as “King Wilson.” A cat with the confidence of a dog, the charm of a royal, and the sweetness of a lifelong companion—Wilson is, without a doubt, one of a kind.
