The eight-member Executive Search Committee appointed by the board of directors, includes members from all key sectors of the Branson market. Tim Scott is the chair of the committee. At the completion of the process, the Executive Search Committee recommends a suitable candidate to the Board of Directors for approval to fill the position. “This is an important decision for our community,” stated Tim Scott. “It will be difficult to fill Jeff Seifried’s shoes, however, we are confident the next leader will build on the gains he had made over the last five years. We will continue that momentum.” The request for qualifications was issued to search firms on July 17; proposals are due July 27. A search firm will be selected by Aug. 3. The committee anticipates several months of work to reach the final choice for the new president/ CEO. Seifried has accepted the postion of President for Connell Insurance.
