Note from GC W elcome to GC! As the dark nights set in, the Christmas lights are on and the smells of gluhwein and bratwurst fill our Birmingham streets, I’m really excited to the Christmas countdown this year here at Grand Central. In this first issue we wanted to celebrate all things Christmas from wish lists to giftspiration for your loved ones. We’ve packed in ideas for beauty lovers, winter wrap ups, men’s grooming or if you are just wanting to treat yourself to a gift ‘from me to me’ (we all like those from time to time). Having managed to swerve cooking up a storm in the kitchen this Christmas, I’ve volunteered myself to set the table instead. Luckily for me (and you) White Company have some tips on laying a table fit for a feast on page 17. If you’re taking charge of dessert, check out Carluccio’s Vin Santo Syrup recipe to perk up Wishing you a merry Christmas and here’s to 2016!
