The marathon, dubbed “Dr. Gakuru Half Marathon” according to Education and Sports CEC, Margaret Macharia, will be held on Sunday, November 11 and will start and end at Ruring’u stadium. The CEC said the race, which will become an annual event, will serve as a worthy reminder of what he stood for - growth, accountability and transparency. This is a key position open to persons with the relevant exposure and experience.
