Governor Alex Tolgos said this was in addition to the admission of the county to the Frontiers Counties Development Council (FCDC) which brings together counties which were previously marginalised in development. Speaking on Saturday during celebrations to mark Mashusaying under the union, member counties are allowed to join other mutually beneficial partnerships. He therefore called on communities living in the Kerio Valley to embrace peace so that the initiatives can bear fruits saying no investor will put money in an area characterised by violence.
