PAGE 3 CIMARRON TRAIL PRESIDENT'S PERSPECTIVE By J ason To l l i son We had another exciting month with the Cimarron Region PCA club. I would like to give a nod to Jay Jackson, Jean Kelly, and Bill Jacobi for their hard work bringing back the Spring Fling in Miami event. With a strong participation from our members everyone seemed to have a fun time and I call that a success. Spring weather brought some rain, but it waited for them to complete the Concours on the main street. The site at the Coleman Theatre pairs very well with the Porsches and our club. I suggest you attend next year’s event. I was working on my 911 and had found a broken part. Trying to get the car ready for a drive in a few days, ordering a replacement would make me miss the event. A fellow club member had a spare part and offered it to me, so I could participate. This may seem like a simple gesture to some but to me this is a pinnacle example of what our car club is about. Members helping members out, sharing knowledge, abilities, and parts. The cars and the people brought together. Next month we have a driving tour to Kansas to see the Salt Mines and museum. There are many autocrosses scheduled, tech sessions, DE’s and more. If you have a suggestion for an event or just want to have a quick get together contact Steve Canada our Social Chair, or any of the officers and we will spread the word. The 63rd Annual Porsche Parade is coming soon, and they are looking for volunteers. If you can help, please contact them. They many activities planned for a fun week. Happy Driving! - Jason Tollison
