A living nativity was outside with live animals along with Santa and baked goodies inside. The idea came from the late Karen Shirk, who was the former worship pastor at New Hope. She wanted guests to experience A Christmas to Remember. Her daughter, Ashley, who is the current worship pastor, said they want to bring some joy and hope to the Christmas season, carrying on her mother’s vision. It was formerly held at the Marleah E. Graves building, but it’s back on the church property, where it was originally held.
