At 5:30 p.m., Board of Selectmen Chair Anthony Cogliano said, he plans to mount a twofoot, round Boston Red Sox holiday ornament bearing Alan’s name and angel wings on the Norway spruce tree recently planted by the town. Cogliano said he also intends to read a letter written by Red Sox President and CEO Sam Kennedy to Alan’s family.
