I think Founders Day is the best of what people represent. I think Founders Day will be forever. You’ll see me here in another 30 years.” Board of Selectmen Vice-Chair Corinne Riley: “It was defi nitely smaller than years past, vendors, food trucks...but I’m sure it was still because Covid is still around and people are being careful. The crowd was smaller as well, defi - nitely not like pre-Covid years, but it was good to have had the tradition return and look forward to having Covid completely behind us so people feel comfortable to get back to enjoying life again without being worried of getting sick themselves, or bringing the virus back to their loved ones. It will take more time, but we’ll get there. The volunteers and Youth & Rec did a great job, and I’d like to thank them for their time and eff ort for putting it together for those who came to enjoy a very missed event.”
